Serene Sim has more than 30 years of work experience. She has wide exposure in HRM, HRD, Learning & Development Consultancy within Educational & Learning Institutions, Civil Service, Military, Healthcare, Service, Hospitality, Entertainment, Retail, Casino, Banking, and Management Consultancy industries.
Serene’s goal is to help organisation build a skilled and resilient workforce by advising organisations in ways to meet current and future needs of the workplace through organisation learning solutions.
Serene has worked as a management trainer in Education Department, Mindef, as well as a design and development specialist in SQ Centre. As a pioneer Lecturer in School of Business Management in Nanyang Polytechnic, she was the Subject Head for POM/OB, she supervised and had developed Principles of Management, Organisation Behaviour, HRD/HRM modules. She had developed and conducted customized certificate programs for the Retail Industry such as Metro and the Robinson Group. In Resorts World Sentosa, she designed and delivered organization-wide learning initiatives, uplifting the quality of curriculum development, putting in place internal quality assurance system, processes and capability within the organization.
She is conversant with Human Resource and Talent Development in ensuring the successful development and implementation of job specific competency development, and change management to support the growth of organizational talent.
